ACRYLIC OR GLASS FEEDING DISH WITH SUCTION CUP

Biome Exotics: Small feeding cups are a great option for small arboreal reptiles like the Lygodactylus species. These small feeding dishes are conveniently mounted to the inside of your enclosure using the included suction cup, allowing for elevated feeding station placements throughout your reptiles' living space. In the wild, many arboreal reptiles species eat in the safety of trees and shrubs, rarely venturing to the ground for food. You can simulate this natural feeding behavior by using our mounted feeding cups. We specifically designed them for commercially available gecko diet mixes. They are securely held in place by a suction cup and are easily re-adjusted when necessary. The Biome Exotics: Small glass feeding cups are also dishwasher safe.

SELECTING THE RIGHT FEEDING DISH FOR YOUR GECKO

It is important that the feeding dishes being utilized are easy to clean, and the correct size / design for the type of food being offered. Having flexible mounting options and a transparent dish is equally important, that way your pet can easily see the food. Many gecko species are arboreal and rarely come down to the forest floor, making a feeding station mounted up high a more natural fit, while others spend most of their time on the ground requiring a different type of feeding dish designed for terrestrial dwelling geckos. As with many animals, there is also the fear for predators, thus having the ability to secure your feeding dish in alternate locations within the enclosure will make your gecko feel a lot more comfortable when eating.
