The composition of the microbiota differs significantly between carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores. Therefore CROCdoc developed BioPlus, a Multi-strain probiotic specifically formulated for reptiles. BioPlus comes in a powder form which can be sprinkled or dusted on the food. It contains a proprietary beld of garlic extract, vitamins, minerals, yeast extracts and glucose polymers. The use of BioPlus Restores and refreshes beneficial gut bacteria and conditions the gut to multiply and produce additional microbiota. Use BioPlus twice a week to ensure a healthy gut flora. It will also help create a natural resistance preventing gut inflammation and infections.
Key Features:
Microbiota control pathogens by stimulating host immunity and mucosal barrier function. There are three factors; diet, microbiota, and the immune system. All interact to affect intestinal and immune function. It is increasingly recognized that disruptions in the microbiota (dysbiosis* and intestinal inflammation) can have adverse effects on health and disease resistance. BioPlus has a long shelf life and can be used year round to maintain a healthy digestive system.
*Dysbiosis typically occurs when the bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract, which includes the stomach and intestines, become unbalanced.
Application:
Approx 1 gram (4 pinches) over live food per kg of reptile bodyweight.
Active ingredients:
14 different vitamins, 8 "Rapisorb" minerals, yeast extracts, Allicin concentrate, glusose polymers, L.casei casei - 0.17 billion cfus per gram. E.faecium 0.5 billion cfus per gram. Total bacterial count 0.67 billion cfus per gram.
Shelf Life:
Normally 20-24 months.
